About MI-21

Metals Information for the 21st Century (MI-21) is a new information service that brings together, online, key data from the comprehensive knowledge bases of the World Metal Index (WMI) and TWI (The Welding Institute). This combination provides a powerful resource for information on metallic materials used in the manufacturing industry.

The service, overall, provides technical information on over 300,000 engineering metals and welding consumables. In addition, the service provides access to an A to Z of metals suppliers, as well as general literature, standards and specifications, and trade catalogues.
